MAP AssessorTM

A proprietary assessment tool used to provide an unobtrusive way of gathering feedback from leader executives while simultaneously communicating the scope and focus of the overall MAP Model.

Anchor 2

Executive Input

MAP will meet with each designated leader one-on-one for 90 minute sessions. Armed with insight from the MAP Assessor, this provides an excellent opportunity to probe and explore each element of the MAP Model to pinpoint areas for improvement and to gather feedback from Company leaders.

CEO Calibration

With feedback and insight from MAP Assessor and the Leader One-on-one Interviews, MAP will meet with the CEO to discuss initial findings and to steer the agenda for the RoadMAP Session - which is to come next. This process allows the leader to fashion the process to best advance his/her agenda while taking into account input and insight from the process to date.

RoadMAP SessionTM

A two-day offsite is used to do hard-nosed action planning against pressing business issues and opportunities. Day One is generally focused on driving consensus on the state of the business and fighting perception with fact - getting buy-in from the leadership team of the need for change. Day Two is all about getting everyone committed and enthused about the way forward - each taking ownership of their part.

Within 30 days or so after the RoadMAP session, it is essential to get the leadership team back together to discuss the inevitable roadblocks that are holding back progress or diverting folks from committed initiatives. Priorities might have shifted, resources might not be available, folks may have lost motivation to drive the change. Whatever the cause, re-energizing and re-committing the team is essential to success, follow through and ultimate value.

Eliminate Roadblocks

Team Calibration

On a monthly or quarterly basis, the leadership team gets back together in a facilitated session to review performance, re-calibrate the RoadMAPTM, and keep a focus on value delivery. New team members are oriented, under-performers are re-committed, and, importantly, successes are lauded and analyzed - to help engender more success and value add behavior.

MAP Capital Assist

Depending on the opportunity and current circumstance of the client company and based on the desires of the CEO and investors (owners and lenders), MAP is set up to make investments alongside others to assist in shoring up the balance sheet and to align incentives regarding implementation of RoadMAP initiatives. This is only done if both parties believe it is a value creation opportunity.
